2. Eligibility Criteria for Ton Duc Thang Graduate Scholarship

4.1. Application Form

The application form is available on the official site of Ton Duc Thong University. You can apply through the online application portal of the University.
The application form is available for International as well as Vietnamese students. 



4.2.  Academic documents

This includes all your certificates & academic record like

A: Bachelor’s transcript & certificate

4.3. Valid passport, Birth certificate & NIC

The passport of the applicant must contain at least one full blank page on both sides.
The passport must be valid at the time of visa application and on arrival to Vietnam. 

A birth certificate or national ID card is also important to attach.

4.4. English Proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) 

The scholarship in Vietnam requires internationally recognized language testing. It includes IELTS and TOEFL,  There are various tests accepted by Ton Duc Than University. However, English-taught programs require an IELTS score of 5.5 to 6.5 while TOEFL above 90 score.  

Courses that are taught in Vietnamese also require IELTS/TOEFL score. The score can be lower for Vietnamese-taught courses e.g. IELTS score can be 4.0-5.0 while TOEFL can be 30-45.

If the final transcript isn’t ready then students can apply with a Hope certificate from their university.
